Powell Valves Restructures Customer Service Team to Provide Exceptional Response Times

Cincinnati, Ohio (Oct. 20, 2014) – With increasing customer requests, Powell Valves announced a restructuring of its customer service department.  The restructuring divides the customer service department into three areas: Capital Project Management; Customer Service – Distribution, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO); International Customer Service and Business Development.  The change ensures Powell’s customers receive the highest quality service with exceptional response times.

Tim Fries, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, “One of Powell’s greatest strengths is our ability to be quick when reacting to customer and market demands.  We have designed a structure which allows us to promptly add resources to scale our business, meeting demands quicker than anyone in the industry.”

Powell made the following appointments to lead the newly restructured areas:

  • Kate Boggs is now Manager of the Capital Project Management department.  She will direct the capital project team in executing the company’s corporate project strategy.  Boggs, who has been with Powell for fourteen years, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management. 

  • Katie Rominger is now Manager of the Customer Service – Distribution, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) department.  In addition to her responsibility of servicing the southeast territory, Rominger will lead a team of customer service representatives and work closely with Powell’s partners to ensure customer expectations are not only met, but exceeded.  Rominger, who has been with Powell for eleven years, is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and holds a bachelor’s degree in management.

  • Jeff Sizer is now Manager of the International Customer Service and Business Development department.  He will be responsible for servicing and expanding international partnerships while executing Powell Valve’s international growth strategy.  Sizer, who has been with Powell for six years, is a graduate from Ohio University.
