Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Revision Date: September 2015 Salary Range: $

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Provide outside sales with consistent communication and quotations updates backorder report, collections issues and weekly agenda.
  • Confer with customers by phone regarding the information about products and services, take or cancel orders or obtain details of complaints within your assigned territory.
  • Refer unresolved customer or project issues to the designated departments for further investigation and follow up to ensure it gets completed.
  • Provide accurate information on quotations and follow up with the customers.
  • Solicit new or organic growth and maintain monthly forecasts by product line.
  • Maintain and become involved in 60 day collection reports to help collect all past due amounts as needed.
  • Work with the manager to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that will increase efficiencies in the sales coordination process and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain customer database and develop new leads for outside sales.
  • Follow-up with customers (internal and external) when needed.
  • Answer calls from customers and support outside sales.
  • Ensure the order is entered in the system correctly.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes or charges were made to the customer order.
  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum High School diploma with at least 1 year experience in sales coordination, or other administrative functions preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to organize a project with multiple issues and a deadline.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Must have advanced experience with working on computers and using Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word and AS400 a plus.
  • Must display above average skills in organizing paperwork and keeping projects up to date.
  • Strong work ethic with a “make it happen” attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Low physical effort required to sit for extended periods, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk. Average lift is less than 5 lbs. This position requires the ability to use a keyboard, monitor, and phone; and the ability to communicate verbally with others.

    Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Plant Manager
    Date: January 2017 Location: Manning & Orangeburg, South Carolina

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Set up and operate a variety of machines to produce/modify precision parts. Includes applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
    • Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
    • Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
    • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
    • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
    • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
    • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
    • Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
    • Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
    • Time Management of one's own time and the time of others.
    • The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
    • The ability to adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions quickly and repeatedly.
    • All other duties as assigned.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • N/A

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School diploma and 5-10 yrs machining experience.
    • Ability to troubleshoot on the sopt.
    • Can assist QC in determining control dimensions to be charted.
    • Communicated effectively with team members as well as management.
    • Ability to work in a co-worker team environment.
    • Keeps work area clean and organized.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Required to stand for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift and walk. Maximum unassisted lift is 30 pounds. The proper PPE is required.

     

    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

    • Working in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner for employee, employees, product and machinery. Factory is not climate controlled.

    Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Plant Manager
    Revision Date: June 2015 Location: Manning, South Carolina

    PURPOSE:

    • To maintain and repair all machinery in a manufacturing machine shop environment

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Demonstrates ability to maintain/repair industrial machines with experience in mechanical and electrical equipment.
    • Must articulate and demonstrate knowledge in safety regulations including but not limited to; Lock out tag out, PPE, Forklift, and Fire etc.
    • Ability to read, interpret and act upon blueprints.
    • Must be able to work alone on more complex repair jobs with minimum supervision
    • Understand basic hydraulic systems.
    • Maintain machinery and safety equipment on a revolving schedule along with documentation to support maintenance.
    • Communicate with vendors when needed
    • Participate in safety committee
    • o Maintain upkeep and train on SDS

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • None.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Working in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner for employee, employees, product, and machinery.
    • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
    • o Must have valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance in order to drive company vehicle.
    • Must have advanced experience with working on computers and using Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word and AS400 a plus.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Required to stand for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift and walk. Maximum unassisted lift is 30 pounds.

    Classification: Salary, Exempt Reports to: Project Engineer

    JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Responsible for any Engineering project related to product design, or material evaluation that is assign by the Project Engineer or Sr. VP Engineering/QA.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Assists with quotation review and customer or supplier assistance concerning technical issues.
    • Must calculate fluid analysis’
    • Perform torque and thrust calculations
    • Assists with product development for CAD
    • Serves as backup for the Project Engineer and all other Engineering issues.
    • Understand and use the computerized inventory system.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • None.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum High School diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in engineering preferably within a manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
    • Must have advanced experience with working on computers and using Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
    • Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand "abstract" principles behind math and physics. Working knowledge of CAD tools a plus.
    • Must display above average skills in organizing paperwork and keeping projects up to date.
    • Strong work ethic with a “make it happen” attitude.
